Shijia Huang is an artist and biodesigner working between London and Beijing. Her practice explores microorganisms, ecological systems, and material transformation through installation, biomaterials, and experimental making. Through collaborations between human and non-human processes, she investigates alternative ways of understanding material production, co-existence, and environmental change.
